Increase Website Traffic and Travel Bookings with User-Generated Content
As one of the fastest growing tourist destinations in the United States, the Breckenridge Resort Chamber was looking to share its guests' content to inspire others to visit the town. The tourism bureau wanted to share these photos with a wider network of potential visitors and to place its top content in digital display ads on third-party travel sites.
In order to collect high-quality customer photos and videos, Breckenridge Tourism used Pixlee to launch and manage its social media campaign under the hashtag #BreckBecause.

Pixlee integrated with Breckenridge’s advertising technology partner and allowed the tourism office to easily feature real customer photos in its display advertisements.
Visitors and locals alike submitted over 18,000 pictures of their favorite Breckenridge experiences. The display advertisements that featured these real customer photos reached almost two million people online and had a 35% higher click-through rate than ads that used stock photos.
With the Pixlee platform, Breckenridge was able to share its authentic guest experiences with a wider audience and convince potential visitors to make the trip to the town.
